Our homebase is on the near eastside of Indianapolis, Indiana.
The History Tree was created by author and genealogist Katie Andrews Potter of Indianapolis, Indiana. Katie is the author of the genealogy-themed historical fantasy series, The Wayfaring Sisters. She has her degree in Elementary Education, is licensed K-6, and has worked in ABA Therapy and Special Education. Currently she is a full-time mommy and author. She lives on the near eastside of Indy with her husband, Ben, and their two children, Eliana and Micah.
We are looking for writers!!!
Our hope for The History Tree is that it be a magazine chock-full of Indiana history & genealogy lessons, educational articles, as well as stories about our ancestors written in narrative form. If you are a historian, teacher, genealogist, or if you're a student just beginning your genealogy journey, we want to hear from you!
